What is Ligue 2?

Ligue 2, also known as the French Ligue 2 BKT, is the second tier of the French football league system. It is organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and consists of 20 teams competing for the title and promotion to Ligue 1, the top tier of French football.
