Manchester City Gegen Chelsea

Manchester City Keep Treble Hopes Alive with FA Cup Semi-Final Victory

Late Goal from Bernardo Silva Secures 1-0 Win

Manchester City's hopes of retaining the domestic double remain alive after Bernardo Silva's late goal secured a 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

The match was a tight affair, with both teams creating chances but failing to capitalize. However, City ultimately emerged victorious thanks to Silva's 81st-minute strike.

The result means that City will face Liverpool in the final at Wembley Stadium on May 31. It will be the third meeting between the two sides in the competition this season, with City having won the previous two encounters.

"It was a tough game," said City manager Pep Guardiola. "Chelsea are a good team and they made it difficult for us. But we kept fighting and we got the goal in the end."

"We're delighted to be in the final and we're looking forward to playing Liverpool. It's going to be a great game."
