The animal kingdom, known as Animalia, is a diverse and complex group of living organisms. Animal Classification

Segmented animals, such as worms and insects, have their bodies divided into repeating units called segments. Unsegmented animals, such as jellyfish and starfish, do not have distinct body segments.

Animal classification is a complex and ongoing process as new species are discovered and our understanding of evolutionary relationships evolves. By studying animal classification, we gain insights into the diversity and interconnectedness of life on Earth.
